Along the Don Valley, just outside of downtown Toronto, there is a long abandoned brick factory that is a haven for urban photographers and graffitti artists. A warren of rooms and catwalks opens into the giant caverns above the old ovens and storage halls. Filled with rusting machines, twisted metal and crumbling structures, the place is lit by beams through the haze of ash kicked up by winds whistling through the holes in the roof. The photos shown below were bracketed heavily in the dim light and the exposures were fused with Enfuse 3 to show details in both the shadows and pools of light.
